House

This image is of a house created using the box modelling method, in which you start off with a simple box and slowly model it into something else.
As you may have noticed it isn't complete.

Rush - YYZ Animated Music Video by Bobby Standridge

One of the greatest pieces of animation I'v ever seen, all done by just one person. This Rush music video took Bobby Standridge one and a half years to create from the initial concept to the completion in 2003. The video was created with 3D Studio Max R3 and hand keyframed using a video reference of himself drumming in mid-air to the song.

Geddy Lee - Julian Opie Style

This is a Julian Opie inspired image I made in Photoshop of Geddy Lee from Rush.

College task to create an avatar in 3D Studio Max using standard primitives. Here's the result!

Peter Molyneux

One of the greatest game designers in the history of the world and the man who pretty much created the God game genre. Peter Molyneux born in Guildford, Surrey started his game design career when he created a text-based business game, Entrepreneur, in 1984. The game failed horribly, causing him to retreat from games design and form a company called Taurus Impex Limited, a company that exported baked beans to the Middle East. After Comodor International mistook his company for being a company that produced networking software he ,instead of correcting the company, decided to fulfill their request and created The Ultimate Database for The Amiga, only correcting them when he presented them with the database. He used the money he made from the database to set up the company Bullfrog, creating massively successful games, such as Populous, Dungeon Keeper and Theme Park. After Bullfrog was aquired by EA he set up a new company, Lionhead Studios. Later creating what are my all time favourite games, Fable and Black &White. As recognition of his contribution to the video game industry, in 2004 he was honoured as a Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and in 2007 awarded the title of Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and of Letters). Peter Molyneux has become infamous for 'over-hyping' his games, but that doesn't deny them of being great games.

His consistency for creating great, massively successful games are why I think Peter Molyneux is The Greatest Games Designer of All Time.

Fallout 3 Dogmeat Greyhound Mod

Just thought I'd share a video of a mod I created over the weekend for Fallout 3. It's a Dogmeat mod that changes the appearance of him so that it resembles my Greyhound, Yumyum. It also modifies a few other things like the name of the dog and the dialogue. (For anyone not familiar with Fallout 3, Dogmeat is an Australian Cattle Dog you can obtain as a companion during the game)

Here's a little abstract scene I created in class using the simple tools and shapes in 3D Studio Max.

First Ever Post! Scimitar Creation Time-Lapse

First post on my blog so I thought I'd start off by sharing this little time-lapse video of a scimitar I created. Enjoy!
